Worship & Music Ministries

  Our Risen Lord has a rich history in Music Ministries.  With the rise of COVID,  person-to-person ministries have been set aside, while still honoring our Lutheran history of music that inspires faith.

  Choirs are returning ! -   Adult Bell Choir 

                                         Song Leader (a new ministry that assists us as worship is broadcast on Facebook and

                                                             leads  those present in the sanctuary)

                                         Children's Bell Choir -  we look forward to giving this opportunity to children again.

                                                             In the meantime, we have found creative ways for all to participate.

                                         Adult Choir -  When it is deemed safe to gather,  choir meets throughout the school year and sings                                                                          twice a month at our Sunday worship;   rehearsals are on Wednesday evening

                                          Small Groups -  vocal and instrumental, ...all ages

                                          Songs for Worship are accompanied by both organ, piano, ...and instruments.

           During this time of on-line and small group worship, a number of our musicians have retired and/or moved.  If you are looking for an opportunity to glorify God through music, Our Risen Lord invites your gifts!

  Volunteers serve on Altar Guild, as ushers, greeters, lectors (readers -youth and adult), assisting ministers and set up and clean up coffee service.
